    Submit your plan 起業準備活動計画

The program checks whether you can meet the Business Manager requirements in time, often with expert advice.

Then apply to the regional immigration bureau, usually within 3 months.

Tips

  • Choose the area where you will really run the business — the program supports and checks you there
  • Read the program’s target fields first; some exclude ordinary retail, trading or restaurants
  • Prepare proof of where you will live and how you will pay your living costs for the first year
  • Plan how you will meet the ¥30 million capital, staff and Japanese rules within the period — see Japanese for business owners
